Glossybox Unboxing

As Glossybox is currently my favorite beauty box, I usually get excited each month for its arrival. This June box definitely lived up to expectations. It is filled with amazing beauty goodies! Most of this month’s box included brands I am familiar with, but they are all brands I tend to love. Here’s what was inside this month’s glossier than normal Glossybox:

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara: Besides the name being so amazingly fantastic, the Better Than Sex mascara is one of the top mascaras on the market right now. While it is not my absolute favorite mascara (Urban Decay Perversion wins that slot!), it is definitely one of my go to-s to make my lashes full and glamorous. The brush has an hourglass shape, which is meant to mimic the curves of a woman’s body.  Some love this, but I am still unsure. It seems to be best for naturally long lashes, which I unfortunately do not have.  The brush is packed with a full load of bristles, which amps the volume of your lashes. It really does! This is a travel sized tube, which I prefer to the full size, as the formula does not dry out as much (given the smaller tube). Very excited to get this, and I will absolutely use it! Amazing lashes, here I come!

Orly Nail Lacquer in Sheer Nude. I love Orly polishes for their rich pigments. They really do deliver color like no other. This color is a nude, which is a staple of mine for any season. Nude polishes elongate the fingers, make them look extra slim and sexy, while also looking polished and sophisticated. Plus, nicks, chips and scratches are less noticeable with a pale nail color, enabling you to stretch your manicure just a tad longer than with a more vibrant hue. This is a mini bottle, so I may have to replenish with a full size after Summer is over.

Doucce Blush Brush. This is a compact kabuki brush that can be used to apply and blend blush and/or bronzers for a seamless makeup look. It has a dome-shape made of natural hair fibers, so it’s very soft. This is a great extra brush to have – especially for travel.

Nexus New York Salon Care Color Assure Restoring Conditioner. This conditioner is a full-size bottle! 13.5 fl oz. Score! This conditioner works well for both color and non-color treated hair by protecting it’s vibrancy, and leaving hair soft and nourished. The formula is enhanced with white orchid oil, that is extra smoothing, and will protect strands from Summer fun: sand and sun.

Etre Belle Cosmetics Aloe Vera Ultra Moisturizing Gel. Gel moisturizers are soothing and lightweight in comparison to their traditional cream moisturizer counterparts, making this perfect for hot Summer months. It is oil-free (yes!) and contains liposomes to give your skin an extra glow. This gel formula replenishes skin’s moisture and improves elasticity, acting as a skin-plumping primer. Plus, it contains aloe vera, which is so soothing. Heavy moisturizers are too much for me, so I’m looking forward to trying this gel formula.
